I spend more time in my bedroom than anywhere else in my apartment. Between working my full-time job and blogging for Thoroughly Modern Princess I sit at my desk a lot.
After living in this apartment for 3 months I decided it was high time to refresh the dull space I spend so much time in.

The Great Gatsby Style:
I still remember the “wow” feeling I felt the first time I saw this scene in the 2013 movie version of The Great Gatsby.
My breath was taken away by the easy glamour of the Long Island Estate. The dramatic billowy white sheer curtains, lush velvet seats, ascents of gold and sparkle, and the well-placed greenery bringing the garden indoors made me weak at the knees.
Ever since seeing the scene, I knew I wanted to design my home with Great Gatsby home Decor. Using this as inspiration and a budget of $650 I chose 8 pieces from Wayfair to refresh my bedroom.
