Is there anything more glamorous than a silk robe? I absolutely adore this robe I got from Chinatown in San Francisco 5 years ago. It has become a staple in my dressing room gear when I am in a performance.
I always feel so fancy sitting under dressing room lights and putting my face on while wearing a silk robe.
Also, It is so much nicer to throw on a pretty robe rather than sweats between costumes.
